Tools: Journey Mapping

A journey map is a tool that helps researchers or designers think about the journey a person follows as they navigate and experience health services or other multi-stage and multi-site processes. In health research, journey maps can aid in understanding the positive and negative experiences for patients, families, and caregivers. A completed journey map provides a visual representation of a patient’s experiences at key stages or locations.
